Sandboarding & Short Boat Trip (2 hrs)

Activity Description

Experience Sandboarding or Sandsledding the famous Alexandria Dune Field – the largest and least degraded coastal dune sea in Africa. The fresh ocean air will embrace you as your board skips across the sand on your way down to the Sundays River –it’s one wild ride!

You’ll depart from the dock at Colchester, Addo, with a short boat cruise along the Sundays River to the soaring dunes. There’s time to take in the beauty of the river, birdlife and the coastal section of the Addo National Park before the fun really starts.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned sandboarder, our guides will have you boarding like a pro in no time! Excursions are available in two- or three- hour tours, which will give you enough time to get into your groove, master some new skills and cool off in the river.

We require a minimum of 2 people to join this activity in order for the tour to go ahead. If there are less than 2 people then the 1 guests will be charged an extra R150 for the tour to continue. Please contact us on the day of the tour to confirm if there are more than 2 people for the tour to continue.

Guests or SpectatorsR150 surcharge will be added if you are the only Sandboarding guest booked for this activity. Please email us if this is a problem for you. Spectators levy is R200 per person for those who want to watch or walk along the beach.
