Experience the magic of the African bush with a two-hour game drive on our 2,200 hectare reserve at the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains. Our knowledgeable game rangers will enthrall you with interesting facts about the wildlife you will view on your safari.
Plett Game Reserve is home to two of Africa’s famous Big 5… rhinos and leopards. You will also encounter many species of antelope, giraffe, zebra, hippo, crocodiles and buffalos.
Birdlife at the game reserve is also abundant, as are the smaller buck and other wild animals that inhabit this protected area of the Garden Route.
Our experienced rangers are always happy to impart information on any of the wild animals you spot.

Guest may bring their own cooler box and ,picnic basket, however we do not stop for a picnic

We loved the drive. It always felt safe and comfortable, the guide was funny and entertaining and really know a lot about the animals, and explained with very nice stories which were relevant for all ages. It's something we will keep doing at Plett because it will never be boring. - Ad
I had a good time reconnecting with nature. The tour guide was easy to interact with and he as an extensive knowledge regarding wild animals and nature. Such made our experience at the game reserve not only interact with nature but to gain knowledge on different animals and how one can apply such knowledge in their daily life. However, we never got to see a rhino, which was the highlight of our tour. - Eliah
