I went on this tour with my mom and we had the most amazing time ever! The tour starts with you being picked up from your hotel, then you're brought to another guide who does the actual Sani tour up the mountain to Lesotho. The ride up the Sani pass is about 2 hours up an incredibly breathtaking view that looks like something out of a windows screensaver. Our first guide, Thabo, was the one who brought us from our hotel to the exchange point. He was very sweet, kind, knowledgeable, and informative. We learned so many new things about the scenery during our trip. He was even kind enough to bring us to get dinner at the end of the tour. We had bunny chow which was delicious! Our other tour guide Mo, who took us up the Sani pass was so kind, insightful, and personable. He brought us tea and these homemade bars that were so delicious and he pointed out different birds and herbs/plants along the path. He's an advent bird watcher and he knew all of the different types of birds we saw on the pass. Once we got up to the top of the mountain, we entered Lesotho where we met some of the friendliest people. We also went to a restaurant and the food and view were both so good! The only complaint I would say is that we didn't go too far into Lesotho, so we didn't see much of the actual country. However, it does take about 5 hours in total to get there which takes up most of the time. This trip was all day long but it was truly an unforgettable experience and i'm so glad my mom and I had the chance to go. - Rochelle

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I was the only guest in the transfer from Durban so that gave an exclusive feel to the first leg of the journey. Driver'guide Hosanna was great company and due to the light hearted conversations and banter the time both to and from Underberg flew by. Pat was equally excellent. The 4x4 journey was smooth, efficient, and thoroughly enjoyable. He worked really hard the entire time. I would recommend this trip to anyone! - Terry

Die Sani Pass Tagestour war toll. Der Fahrer hat mich punktlich um 6 Uhr am Hotel abgeholt. Nach 3 Stunden Fahrt habe ich das Fahrzeug gewechselt und es ging uber 8 Kilometer auf den Sani Pass. Der Fahrer ist sehr gut und sicher gefahren. Die Erklarungen waren gut. Die Grenzformalitaten in Lesotho waren schnell erledigt. Die Erzahlungen einer Bewohnerin von Lesotho in einer traditionellen Hutte waren sehr interessant. Das Mittagessen im hochsten Pub von Afrika war gut. Auch die Ruckfahrt nach Durban war perfekt organisiert. Insgesamt ein toller Tag mit vielen schonen Erlebnissen. Danke! - Dagmar

Der Ausflug uber den Sani-Pass nach Lesotho ab Durban war sehr interessant. Die Fahrer waren sehr nett und kompetent. Die Fahrt uber den Sani-Pass ist sehr abenteuerlich. In Lesotho kommt man mit Einheimischen ins Gesprach und erfahrt viel uber das Leben in den Dorfern. - Peter
