Guided Segway Tours - Forest Adventure - Family Fun
There is no better way to end off the day – enjoying wine and oysters on a relaxing boat cruise and taking in the magnificence of Knysna as our African sun starts to set over the lagoon. Indulge your inner romantic and join us onboard our “Oyster Boat” as we head off slowly towards the impressive Knysna Heads, and take in the splendor of the tranquil lagoon as the sun sets on another perfect day in Africa. Relax while you enjoy a glass of wine with a few fresh local oysters. The cruise is slow and leisurely, ultimately relaxing and one can’t help but just sit back, and take it all in! The sunset cruise is a fully guided cruise and is inclusive of complimentary white wine and oysters for tasting.
Cruises depart daily from our Activity Desk at Knysna Charters, Thesen Island Harbour Town. Please remember your camera, sunblock, sunhat and wind breaker (just in case!)
Extra drinks and snacks are not provided on this tour. Guests are welcome to purchase drinks and bring them along. Or select the snack platter option on the booking page, for a Mediterranean style snack platter with a little South African flavour!

Please note: Guests are required to be at the boat 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We are based at our Activity Desk at TH23 , Knysna Charters, Thesen Island, Long Street, Knysna.

Included in the 1 hour Segway tour is a 15-20 minute training session on our training course as part of your 1 hour Segway experience. After the training, we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village and follow one of a selection of routes among cool pine forest and indigenous forest. If you are up for more, join us on the 2 hour tour we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village and further into the forest.

The Segway PT (Personal Transporter) is exceptionally easy and safe to use. Before each tour, guests receive a comprehensive orientation by an experienced official Segway trainer. This training takes between 15 and 20 minutes per group and covers important safety and operational procedures.
Before the tour embarks, the guide ensures that everyone is 100% comfortable on the Segway PT. An obstacle course will enable the riders to practice and build confidence before the tour starts.
Pickups/Transfers is subject to availability and at an extra cost.
