Guided Segway Tours - Forest Adventure - Family Fun
This ticket is for a solo rider and passengers are aged between 3 and 9 years old.
Scootours is an unique and true forest experience. Enjoy an exhilarating downhill on the Monster Mountain Scooter, descent through indigenous forest, sweepy bends and single track. A scenic minibus ride takes you into the heart of the forest to the best hills to start your descent in the Knysna Forests. All of this while on the lookout for the our local wild life, the majestic Knysna Loerie, the shy bushbuck and wild boar.
Scooters are non motorized making this the ideal eco friendly activity.
These Swiss designed scooters are used in the Alps during the summer season on the ski slopes when the snow is gone. All trips are guided by professional qualified guides. All scooters can handle one adult with a child passenger.

We really liked the scoot tour. It was more exciting that we anticipated. My thrill seeker kids really liked it (even at age 18). It became one of my son's best memories for our visit to South Africa. I'm less comfortable with high speeds, and the brakes accommodated me just fine for that so overall, very happy! After the training, we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village and follow one of a selection of routes among cool pine forest and indigenous forest. If you are up for more, join us on the 2 hour tour we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village and further into the forest.

The Segway PT (Personal Transporter) is exceptionally easy and safe to use. Before each tour, guests receive a comprehensive orientation by an experienced official Segway trainer. This training takes between 15 and 20 minutes per group and covers important safety and operational procedures.
Before the tour embarks, the guide ensures that everyone is 100% comfortable on the Segway PT. An obstacle course will enable the riders to practice and build confidence before the tour starts.
Pickups/Transfers is subject to availability and at an extra cost.

An absolutely fantastic experience. On arrival we were seen to straight away and everyone was helpful especially our guide Chester. It was our first time on Segway but we were instructed well and it was super easy to get the hang of.
