Guided Segway Tours - Forest Adventure - Family Fun
This ticket is for a solo rider and passengers are aged between 3 and 9 years old.
Scootours is an unique and true forest experience. Enjoy an exhilarating downhill on the Monster Mountain Scooter, descent through indigenous forest, sweepy bends and single track. A scenic minibus ride takes you into the heart of the forest to the best hills to start your descent in the Knysna Forests. All of this while on the lookout for the our local wild life, the majestic Knysna Loerie, the shy bushbuck and wild boar.
Scooters are non motorized making this the ideal eco friendly activity.
These Swiss designed scooters are used in the Alps during the summer season on the ski slopes when the snow is gone. All trips are guided by professional qualified guides. All scooters can handle one adult with a child passenger.

Solo riders must be 10 years and up and able to ride and balance a bicycle. The tour is an two hour excursion from the time that you depart to the time that you come back

We (family of 4 with two boys aged 10 and 13)thoroughly enjoyed this experience in the beautiful knysna.our guide was friendly,very personable and also informative on the local area and nature. The forested area where we went on three separate scooter rides was beautiful and the scooter were definitely fast enough to be a lot of fun but safe. The guide stopped a few times to point out various indigenous trees which we found informative as we are nature lovers. The kids loved the activity as we did. - Julian heath

Wow what a rush! My 2 teens and husband had an absolute blast. I was a bit more nervous but the guide was very patient and took things at my pace. A great experience and once you realise the scooters are able to go over large rocks and stones it felt a bit safer!! Included in the 1 hour Segway tour is a 15-20 minute training session on our training course as part of your 1 hour Segway experience. After the training, we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village and follow one of a selection of routes among cool pine forest and indigenous forest. If you are up for more, join us on the 2 hour tour we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village, and into the cool pine forests. We enter the ancient indigenous Tsitsikamma Forests along the paths to the famous and majestic 1000-year-old Tsitsikamma BIG Tree and back to the village.
Included in the 1 hour Segway tour is a 15-20 minute training session on our training course as part of your 1 hour Segway experience. After the training we take a journey through the quaint Stormsriver Village and follow one of a selection of routes among cool pine forest and indigenous forest. Introduction training is provided before embarking on the tour. Departure times may vary due to booking commitments.

The Segway PT (Personal Transporter) is exceptionally easy and safe to use. Before each tour, guests receive a comprehensive orientation by an experienced official Segway trainer. This training takes between 15 and 20 minutes per group and covers important safety and operational procedures.
Before the tour embarks, the guide ensures that everyone is 100% comfortable on the Segway PT. An obstacle course will enable the riders to practice and build confidence before the tour starts.
Pickups/Transfers is subject to availability and at an extra cost.
We were a family of four on holiday from the UK and had great fun. It's the first time any of us had tried and we were are a bit nervous beforehand.
